The Scientific Bio-Minds is an academic private organization established in 2008. It is a federation of bioinformatics research and service groups from the major universities. It also works closely with industrial partners.
The Scientific Bio-Minds brings together bioinformatics skills and experience. It coordinates bioinformatics research and education throughout India and provides high quality bioinformatics services to the national and international research community.
Need for the Life Science Industry and Academic collaboration
The high demand and need for the Industry/Research exposure to Undergraduate and Postgraduate Life Science students has been growing exponentially. Not surprisingly, the competition and the unavailability of the destinations have been the major obstacles for these aspiring students across the country.

Scientific Bio-Minds has been developed an unthread network with the eminent scientist and Industry experts across the country. Most of these projects are designed and delivered by the Industry and Research experts with a major goal of bridging Industry and Academics.
Real time R&D projects
Participants will be a part of the real time R&D projects which are part of the contract research, self generated, outsourced research projects of Scientific Bio-Minds.
Eligibility
ü Students those who have completed/pursuing B.SC/ B.Tech/ M.Sc/ M.Tech Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ microbiology/ Biochemistry/ genetics/Chemistry / Pharmacy under graduation and post graduation.
ü Current researchers, academicians, job seekers are highly encouraged to apply to enhance their skill base and to add a valuable flavor of Bioinformatics to their core life science domains.
Project Offerings
Full time: Projects are usually delivered at the Scientific Bio-Minds corporate office and the other branches of the Scientific Bio-Minds across the country.
Part time: Assistance can be given on week ends and Occasional visits.*
On site: On demand projects can also be delivered at the college campus.*
On line: The projects could also be executed through online and telephone facility.*

We assume that students come from various Life Science specializations and there shall be a need for bringing all of them to a common flat form in Bioinformatics before they choose their project specializations. Technical guidance and Evaluation in thesis documentation by the Industry and research experts.

CD-ROM containing Biotechnology experiments & Bioinformatics tools and courseware’s related to the project undertaken, Knowledge/Technical lectures from the renewed Industry and research personals during the project tenure.
Scientific Advantages
Most of the Projects are guaranteed for publication quality. Students will be encouraged and sponsored to publish the project outcomes as a research paper/poster/oral presentation in any of the National and International workshops/seminars/symposiums.
Duration
2-6 Months is an ideal duration. However the duration of the project is flexible and depends on the student’s requirement and complexity of the project.
